It is not permitted to take photos or videos of other patients or hospital staff. Photos or videos must not be shared on social media without the consent of those shown. 

We ask that you respect the privacy of everyone you encounter during your stay at the hospital, and that you only take photos or videos of your own family and friends.

Please bring any regular medication you take. It may take some time to obtain the same medication from the pharmacy.

Please leave valuables at home. Theft can occur in hospitals.

Bring comfortable clothing and suitable, sturdy footwear. Walking barefoot is not permitted due to hygienic reasons.

Bring toiletries such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, a comb, deodorant and, if needed, an electric shaver. Also bring assistive devices you depend on, for example a walking stick, crutches, wheelchair etc.

Good hygiene is an important factor in ensuring patients receive good care. 

Parking for patients and visitors is available on the hospital grounds. 

You can park on the southside of the hospital, or on the eastside/back near the river or the eye clinic. Parking is free of charge.

There are no charging points for electric vehicles.

Designated disabled (blue badge) parking spaces are available outside the main entrance.

Reserved parking for blood donors is located in the cark park south of the hospital.

Please remember to place your parking permit clearly visible in the front windscreen when using these reserved spaces.

Parking for patients and visitors is centrally located on the hospital grounds. Parking is free of charge.

The car park has two charging points for electric vehicles. 

The hospital grounds are smoke-free.

Inpatients who require nicotine products can contact the healthcare staff on their ward.
