About your hospital appointment
On helsenorge.no, you can check your appointments and send messages to the department you have an appointment with.
Here you can:
- View your appointments
- Ask questions about your appointment
- Request to change or cancel your appointment
- Let us know if you wish to end your treatment
- Check the status of your referral (does not apply to radiology)
- Send messages to the department where you have an appointment (does not apply to radiology)
You will receive a reply to your message within two working days.
Receive an appointment letter by post
This page does not replace the appointment letter you receive by post. We encourage you to read the letter carefully.
Do you not have access to helsenorge.no?
If you do not wish to use helsenorge.no, you can contact the department you have been referred to directly.
Change your appointment
Once you have been granted the right to specialist health care, you will be offered an appointment. If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible. Many other patients are also waiting for an appointment.
Please note that changing your appointment may result in longer waiting time.
If you cancel your appointment or do not attend, the hospital cannot guarantee that you will receive health care within the deadline you have been given.
Access for relatives
If you have children under the age of 12 who live at the same registered address as you, you can view their appointments on helsenorge.no.
Log in as usual. At the top of the page, you will find a drop-down menu where you can select your child's name.
When you click on the name, you will see an overview of the child's appointments.
Fee for non-attendance or late cancellation
If you do not attend your appointment or cancel it, you will be charged a fee in accordance with current rates.
