We provide specialized health care services to people living in Sunnhordland, Indre Hardanger, and Northern Rogaland.

Helse Fonna has about 4300 employees who work to provide the best possible treatment and care for our patients. 

Helse Fonna is a Regional Health Authority owned by Helse Vest RHF. 

Our organization includes:

  • Three somatic hospitals: Haugesund, Stord and Odda
  • One psychiatric hospital: Valen in Kvinnherad
  • Three district psychiatric centers: Haugaland DPS, Stord DPS and Folgefonn DPS
  • Ten ambulance stations
  • Administrative offices are located in Haugesund
