During the week, he works at Haugesund Hospital – located on the southwest coast of Norway.

Haugesund Hospital is one of four hospitals in Helse Fonna that provides specialized health care services to people living in Sunnhordland, Indre Hardanger, and Northern Rogaland.

On weekends, he often takes advantage of the short 1-2 hour drive to the mountains to go skiing, climbing, hiking, or kayaking.

Being a keen outdoorsman, he has found it easy to combine his job as a doctor with his love of hiking, mountaineering and other outdoor activities. And with the mountains right at his doorstep, every day offers new opportunities for adventure.
