Psykisk helsevern, Haugesund sjukehus

Spesialisert behandling innan psykisk helsevern held til på Haugesund sjukehus. Saman med Valen sjukehus tilbyr vi spesialisert psykisk helsevern for vaksne i vår region.

Klinikk for psykisk helsevern har funksjonsfordelt det spesialiserte sjukehustilbodet innan psykisk helsevern for den vaksne befolkninga.

I Helse Fonna har vi to avdelingar, avdeling psykisk helsevern Haugesund sjukehus og avdeling psykisk helsevern Valen sjukehus. Begge avdelingane har ulike tilbod for vaksne over 18 år og eldre i heile Helse-Fonna regionen. Avdelingane har kvar sin akuttpsykiatriske post med lokalt opptaksområde, Valen for befolkninga i Sunnhordland, Kvinnherad og Hardanger, og Haugesund for befolkninga på Haugalandet.

Individuelt tilpassa behandling

Psykiske lidingar rammer frå tid til annan nesten alle familiar.  Vi har som mål å kome tidleg til med eit heilhetleg og individuelt tilpassa behandlingsforløp for pasientar, og bruker oppdatert og forskningsbasert kunnskap i behandlingstilbodet.

Vi ønskjer å gi pasientar sjansen til å leva eit best mogleg liv, med deltaking, sjølvstende og evne til å meistre kvardagen. Saman med pasienten lagar vi ein individuelt tilpassa behandlingsplan for å oppnå dette målet.

I Helse Fonna nyttar vi eit system som heiter Checkware. Dette er ei digital løysing der pasientar sjølv kan registrere data sjukehuset treng - før, under, eller etter eit behandlingsforløp.

Praktisk informasjon

Cafeteria

The cafeteria on the 6th floor is available to patients, visitors and staff.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 15:30. It is closed on weekends and public holidays.

The patient cafeteria on the 4th and 5th floor is only available for patients.

Many of the wards have their own dining rooms with simple self-service available for patients. Please contact your ward for information.

Kiosk

There is a Narvesen kiosk on the ground floor where you can buy food, sweets, magazines and other items. 

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 06:30 - 21:00.

Saturday: 09:00 - 20:00

Sunday: 10:00 - 20:00

You can change your appointment up to 48 hours before your scheduled visit. This can be done through helsenorge.no or by contacting us by phone on 52 73 90 00. Our contact centre is open from 07:30 to 15:30. 

On helsenorge.no, you will find information about your appointment in your appointment letter.

The multi-storey car park north of the hospital is reserved for patients and visitors. You must pay a fee to park. 

You can pay by cash or card at the parking machines, or by using the EasyPark app.

There is no number plate recognition at the car park. You must start and stop your parking session yourself using the EasyPark app. 

Prices

The parking fee is NOK 25 per hour. The maximum daily rate is NOK 155.

Haugesund Parkering Drift AS is responsible for managing the car park and the parking areas in front of the main entrance. Any complaints regarding parking fees should be directed to them. Information is available on the parking machines.

Electric vehicle charging

There are three charging points available for electric vehicles. 

Reserved parking

Reserved spaces for disabled parking are located outside the main entrance. Please remember to place the parking permit clearly visible in the windscreen. 

There are reserved spaces for blood donors and dialysis patients in the multi-storey car park. These are marked with dedicated signs. If you are entitled to use these spaces, you will be issued with a parking permit by the department where you receive treatment. 

The pharmacy is located on the ground floor, in the corridor past the reception desk.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.

 

It is not permitted to take photos or videos of other patients or hospital staff. Photos or videos must not be shared on social media without the consent of those shown. 

We ask that you respect the privacy of everyone you encounter during your stay at the hospital, and that you only take photos or videos of your own family and friends.

Please bring any regular medication you take. It may take some time to obtain the same medication from the pharmacy.

Please leave valuables at home. Theft can occur in hospitals.

Bring comfortable clothing and suitable, sturdy footwear. Walking barefoot is not permitted due to hygienic reasons.

Bring toiletries such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, a comb, deodorant and, if needed, an electric shaver. Also bring assistive devices you depend on, for example a walking stick, crutches, wheelchair etc.

Good hygiene is an important factor in ensuring patients receive good care.
