Øre-nese-hals

Vi tilbyr utgreiing og behandling av dei fleste vanlege sjukdomar og tilstandar innan øyre-nase-hals-faget. Vi har poliklinikk, operasjonsavdeling og høyresentral.

Vi utfører operasjonar som fjerning av mandlar og polyppar, innsetting av ventilasjonsrøyr i øyra, lapping av hol i trommehinna, retting av skjeiv nase, biholeoperasjonar, blautdelsoperasjonar og tannbehandling som krev narkose.

Vi har utgreiing av hode/hals-kreft og noko oppfølging, men sjølve behandlinga skjer ved Haukeland universitetssjukehus.

Ved høyresentralen jobbar audiografar og legar som driv med utgreiing av høyrsle, og vi bestiller, tilpassar og har oppfølging av høyreapparat.

Vi har jamlege kurs for pasientar og pårørande om tinnitus/øyresus.

I samarbeid med Odda sjukehus tilbyr vi utgreiing og behandling av søvnapné, som du kan lese meir om under Søvnpoliklinikken.

Vi har også utgreiing og behandling for allergi. 

Vi er opptatt av kvalitet og pasienttryggleik og at du som pasient og pårørande skal føle deg godt i varetatt hos oss.

Oppmøtestad

Våre lokalar er i 1. etasje ved Haugesund sjukehus. Du kan bruke hovudinngangen og passere resepsjonen og sjukehusapoteket - du finn oss heilt i enden av korridoren.

Ved tilpassing av høyreapparat, anbefaler vi at pasienten har med seg følge/pårørande.

The multi-storey car park north of the hospital is reserved for patients and visitors. You must pay a fee to park. 

You can pay by cash or card at the parking machines, or by using the EasyPark app.

There is no number plate recognition at the car park. You must start and stop your parking session yourself using the EasyPark app. 

Prices

The parking fee is NOK 25 per hour. The maximum daily rate is NOK 155.

Haugesund Parkering Drift AS is responsible for managing the car park and the parking areas in front of the main entrance. Any complaints regarding parking fees should be directed to them. Information is available on the parking machines.

Electric vehicle charging

There are three charging points available for electric vehicles. 

Reserved parking

Reserved spaces for disabled parking are located outside the main entrance. Please remember to place the parking permit clearly visible in the windscreen. 

There are reserved spaces for blood donors and dialysis patients in the multi-storey car park. These are marked with dedicated signs. If you are entitled to use these spaces, you will be issued with a parking permit by the department where you receive treatment. 

There are several bus stops close to Haugesund Hospital.

Praktisk informasjon

Cafeteria

The cafeteria on the 6th floor is available to patients, visitors and staff.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 15:30. It is closed on weekends and public holidays.

The patient cafeteria on the 4th and 5th floor is only available for patients.

Many of the wards have their own dining rooms with simple self-service available for patients. Please contact your ward for information.

Kiosk

There is a Narvesen kiosk on the ground floor where you can buy food, sweets, magazines and other items. 

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 06:30 - 21:00.

Saturday: 09:00 - 20:00

Sunday: 10:00 - 20:00

You can change your appointment up to 48 hours before your scheduled visit. This can be done through helsenorge.no or by contacting us by phone on 52 73 90 00. Our contact centre is open from 07:30 to 15:30. 

On helsenorge.no, you will find information about your appointment in your appointment letter.

The pharmacy is located on the ground floor, in the corridor past the reception desk.

Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.

 

It is not permitted to take photos or videos of other patients or hospital staff. Photos or videos must not be shared on social media without the consent of those shown. 

We ask that you respect the privacy of everyone you encounter during your stay at the hospital, and that you only take photos or videos of your own family and friends.

Please bring any regular medication you take. It may take some time to obtain the same medication from the pharmacy.

Please leave valuables at home. Theft can occur in hospitals.

Bring comfortable clothing and suitable, sturdy footwear. Walking barefoot is not permitted due to hygienic reasons.

Bring toiletries such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, a comb, deodorant and, if needed, an electric shaver. Also bring assistive devices you depend on, for example a walking stick, crutches, wheelchair etc.

Good hygiene is an important factor in ensuring patients receive good care.
