  • Rest period for mother and baby: 13:00–15:00. No visits are allowed during this time.

For the wellbeing of mother and baby, a maximum of four visitors are allowed at a time.

Flowers

Flowers are allowed for patients in the maternity and surgical wards, but not in the medical wards.

We aim to facilitate visits and support for patients as much as possible.

Flu Season

During the winter season, the risk of infection in the community increases. However, our hospitals maintain a high vaccination rate and good basic infection control routines. Therefore, there is less need for additional infection control measures.

This is in line with updated guidance from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI) for specialist health services.
