Research is one Helse Fonna’s main responsibilities, and we have an active research community. Through research and innovation, we gain new knowledge of health and illnesses and increase the quality of patient care.

The largest research group at Helse Fonna studies ageing and dementia. The research covers the fields of geriatrics, neurology and psychiatry.
